Disciple Bible Studies begin in January

Want to learn more about the Bible and how it can relate to you today? Two Disciple    Classes will begin in January on Sunday nights @ 5 PM – 7 PM. You are invited to a Christmas Musical Celebration with the Genesis Chancel Choir, Instrumental Ensemble and Friends, directed by Marla Ham. The Christmas Musical Celebration will be presented Sunday December 8 at both the 9:00 a.m. and 11:20 a.m. worship services.

Hanging of the Greens

Sunday, November 24 @ 3:00 pm Join us in decorating God’s church for the arrival of the Christ child. We need a few strong men to assist us in bring the decorations down from the attic just after the 11:20 a.m. worship service or at 2:00 pm. 2019 Methodist Build

Genesis Build Day – Saturday November 23! Seeking at least 10 Genesis Members & Friends. Genesis has joined with  Habitat for Humanity Wake County, other UMC’s and two other coalitions to build affordable townhomes in southeast Raleigh. This year’s build is called the Trinity Build. Is There Room at Your Table?

Do you know  a person or a couple who have gone through a challenging time or may be alone this Thanksgiving or Christmas?  Consider inviting them to your holiday meal. Simply ask if they have plans. Seeking Sewers

Collect and sew hats for Duke cancer patients. Hats are cut out and waiting for you with sewing instructions in the cupboard in room 212. Worship at Brookdale

November 10 @ 1:30 pm Genesis members and friends hold a worship service with Holy Communion for the residents of Brookdale Assisted Living ( MacArthur Park Dr. ) on the 2nd Sunday of each month at 1:30 PM.  No sign up is necessary, just show up!
