Given the rising cases of COVID in our state, Genesis UMC fully supports and is following CDC guidelines to fight this pandemic. We especially support our health care providers and essential workers that have been the true heroes.
As we celebrate the birth of our Savior in these trying times, we believe the best way to show the love of Jesus is to keep our community safe by protecting you and your family. Thus, we invite you to celebrate Christmas safely with us through the following online / outdoor Advent events.
- Advent and Christmas Eve online worship services are available beginning at 9 am on Sundays and Christmas Eve via youtube, https://www.youtube.com/GenesisUMCCary.
- Outdoor Worship in the Genesis UMC Parking lot on Sundays at 11:30 am, weather permitting.
- Journey to the Manger outdoor self-guided worship experience is open December 20th through 25th, dusk – 9:00 pm. The walk will be lit by solar powered luminaries. Video narration will be available via QR codes at each station.
