Beginning April 8: “You and Me Forever” by Frances Chan

This book will challenge you to view your marriage like never before. It shows us we cannot allow lesser things to destroy our marriages. God asks us to pursue Him first and most, then life makes sense, and everything falls into its proper place. Love, laughter, and intimacy were all created to be enjoyed. There is a way to love family deeply without ignoring heaven. It all comes down to our focus.

Seekers, Sundays at 10:00 am via ZOOM

April 11 and 18: “My Search for Messiahwith Michael Rydelnik

Jewish studies professor Dr. Michael Rydelnik was a freshman in high school when his mother, a Holocaust survivor, revealed her secret faith in Jesus as the Messiah of Israel. While studying the Hebrew Bible to convince his mother of the error of her way, he came face-to-face with the truth of Scripture. In this compelling presentation he returns to Jerusalem and the Western Wall to share his compelling story and retrace the path of his search for Messiah.

April 25 – May 16: “The Appointed Times” with Michael Rydelnik, Avner Boskey and Michael Brown

Today in Israel and throughout the Jewish world the annual cycle of holy days continue to be observed. From the making of unleavened bread to the blowing of trumpets, these spring and fall feasts provide rest, remembrance, and renewal, calling people back to God.

In this 4-part presentation, Michael Rydelnik, Avner Boskey, and Michael Brown spend time in Israel uncovering the historical, agricultural, sacrificial, and prophetic understanding of the sacred feasts. Although some believe these appointed times are only relevant for the people of Israel, this team of Jewish scholars and followers of Jesus are convinced that they hold more significance: that the spring and fall feasts are fulfilled in Jesus’ death, burial, resurrection, and promise of His return. See in stunning detail how together, these feasts unfold God’s grand story of redemption for the entire world.

Current Study: “Consequences of Ideas” by R.C. Sproul

To understand the culture in which we live in, you need to be familiar with the ideas that have shaped it. In Ligonier’s survey series, The Consequences of Ideas, R.C. Sproul traces the contours of Western philosophy throughout history and shows how our culture evolved to what it is today.

From ancient Greek thinkers like Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle to Christian philosophers such as Augustine, Anselm and Aquinas to the shapers of modern thought such as Hume, Kant and Nietzsche, R.C. demonstrates the consequences of each of these and other important thinkers’ ideas on world events, theology, the fine arts and culture, as well as our everyday lives.

Listen, and you will hear echoes of their ideas in your daily conversations-especially as you witness to unbelievers.

It’s 1936 when orphaned thirteen-year-old Evalina Toussaint is admitted to Highland Hospital, a mental institution in Asheville, North Carolina, known for its innovative treatments for nervous disorders and addictions. Taken under the wing of the hospital’s most notable patient, Zelda Fitzgerald, Evalina witnesses cascading events that lead up to the tragic fire of 1948 that killed nine women in a locked ward, Zelda among them.
