Hats for Duke / Port Pillows for Rex

Genesis’ Hats for Duke mission cuts and sews hats for Duke and port pillows for Rex hospitals for their patients undergoing Chemotherapy.  In March the representative for the Duke Hospital Cancer Patient Support Program said that, during the current pandemic, we could not deliver the hats we had ready. Project Agape

Genesis delivered 20 boxes to UMCOR in Goldsboro to be sent to Project Agape, a Methodist mission in Armenia.  These boxes will be distributed in the winter to children who are served by this mission partner as an extension of God’s love for them.  This year the United Methodist Conference asked for churches to send fewer boxes and to instead send a financial gift. This mission is underfunded due to a decline in donations.  Genesis UMC is sending a gift…
