Good morning, Genesis! In lieu of corporate musical worship this morning, I offer a musical meditation for you. Here is a link to a recording of a beautiful choral motet, “Crucem tuam adoramus, Domine” composed by Pawel Lukaszewski. The Latin text for this anthem originates from the Catholic liturgy traditionally observed on Good Friday, and is appropriate for the lenten season in which we find ourselves today. Holy Week Worship

Holy Week begins on Palm Sunday and carries on through Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, and Holy Saturday. It is a time for Christians to reflect on Jesus’ journey to the cross, beginning with his triumphal entry into Jerusalem and concluding with his lonely trek from the Upper Room through Gethsemane and ultimately to Calvary and the empty tomb.
