Life Experiences, the adult work and learning facility right here in Cary, joined us at both services to receive supplies and a financial contribution.
We also honored the Lucas family that are the original founding members of this organization and their daughter Margaret who has worked at Life Experiences for 35 years. What a special day!
We learned how they instruct special needs adults on job skills like a shredding service, laundry for Prestonwood Country Club, napkins folded for Airlines at RDU and their wonderful bakery where you can order trays of goodies for your next party.
They are proud to have a purpose and enjoy time with friends where they play bingo, do crafts, listen to music groups that come and perform, or just enjoy visitors at lunch like a lunch buddy.
