Thursday November 21 @ 7:15 pm
When does a moral choice become a moral imperative? And where does one draw the line between punishment and justice, forgiveness and mercy?
Join the Genesis book group on Thursday, November 21st, 7:15 pm at Michelle Picirillo’s home to discuss Jodi Picoult’s The Storyteller. Goodreads website describes The Storyteller as a searingly honest novel in which Jodi Picoult gracefully explores the lengths we will go in order to protect our families and to keep the past from dictating the future.
The Genesis book group meets the third Thursday of the month at members’ homes for light refreshments and scintillating conversation. Books are available to borrow at the meeting or in the adult ministry closet located next to the choir room.
Our upcoming meeting dates and books include:
December 19th: The Crooked Christmas Tree by Damian Chandler
January 16th: Caleb’s Crossing by Geraldine Brooks
February 20th: Deep South by Paul Theroux
If you will be joining our group for the first time or have any questions, please contact Sarah Haw at yeehaw405@gmail.com. We’d love to see YOU at our next meeting!
