Hi Genesis families,
I wanted to provide you with an update on the Christmas Shop that was held at Genesis in December of 2021. We partnered with our C4C school, Kingswood Elementary, to set up a Christmas Shop for low-income families of Kingswood students where the parents picked out free gifts for their children.
With amazing support from the congregation, the Christmas Shop was a huge success, serving 46 families and 110 children. Each child was able to receive multiple toys and a complete outfit for Christmas.
Not only did many of the congregation donate items, but we had over 20 wonderful volunteers come and help run the shop, many of whom interacted personally with the families.
Genesis plans to partner each year with Kingswood to hold an annual Christmas Shop to continue to touch the lives of many Kingswood families. Thank you so much for your support!
