Families with children! “Indescribable” Devotions about God and Science Saturday October 10th @ 10:00 – 10:45 am. This first event is a family mission in the church parking lot. We’ll paint cardboard baffles for our team at Methodist Build and discuss God’s creation as a blank page. Children need to dress with clothing that might be stained with paint. Dorcas Food Pantry- Volunteers Needed! Dorcas Ministries is dependent on Genesis UMC to keep the food pantry open on Saturdays. Please consider volunteering once or twice a month. You will work in the pantry with 2-3 others to sort food and greet shoppers. Shoppers do not enter the pantry. Dorcas has prepared a 12 minute video below that shows responsibilities of a volunteer and safety measures in place during the pandemic.
