Have you ever wondered why you react a certain way in situations? Excel in certain scenarios yet repeat self-defeating patterns in others? Looked at a friend, co-worker or spouse and wondered why they act the way they do? Come join the Enneagram class being offered at Genesis UMC in March and explore some answers.
The Enneagram is an ancient personality typing system, some say dating back to the 4th century, that helps people understand who they are and what makes them tick. This knowledge is helpful in your personal and work relationships as well as your Christian spiritual journey. “The Road Back to You – An Enneagram Journey to Self-Discovery” by Ian Morgan Cron and Suzanne Stabile will provide the backbone of the study as well as a few other sources provided by facilitators. This study offers a practical, comprehensive way of accessing Enneagram wisdom while exploring its connections with Christian spirituality for a deeper knowledge of ourselves, compassion for others and love for God.
This 6 week class will be offered on Monday evenings beginning March 23 at 7 p.m. Childcare will be provided if requested two weeks before the start of class. Sign up in the Gathering Hall so books and workbooks can be ordered. Andy and Ellen Allen will facilitate. Sign up – it’s going to be FUN! (and you just might learn something about yourself!!)
