BOLT Kids partners with parents in preparing children to live, to grow in knowledge and service, and to share their faith as Christ ‘s disciple. Here is what we offer weekly to help families in this journey…
BOLT KIDS Bible School – each Sunday at 10:00 AM
Our Bible School program is an exciting, interactive, multimedia experience for children in preschool through 5th grade. With both large group times and small group activities, children have an opportunity to grow lasting bonds with God and with one another.
We teach The Gospel Project for Kids -a three-year curriculum that teaches the Bible in its book order. It offers a comprehensive view on how the Old and New Testament tell the story of God’s Big Plan for our redemption through Jesus.
Our program is for the whole family. We encourage parents to be involved by service and mentorship. Families that regularly attend church’s events and that are engaged in our community of faith develop Christian principles and lifestyle that help them navigate today’s world.

Nursery Care
Children are always welcome among us. For the comfort and convenience of parents, we offer childcare during Worship and Sunday School for ages 4 and under in our nursery down the hallway to the right of the sanctuary.
Childcare may be requested when you are attending a class or event at Genesis. You may request childcare by contacting our Childcare Coordinator at nursery@genesis-umc.org.
Christian Preschool
The Genesis UMC Christian Preschool provides nurture and care for children ages two through transitional kindergarten from September through May of each year. Our Preschool provides a warm, Christian environment where each child feels welcome and loved. These children are offered developmentally-appropriate experiences and opportunities that enrich their cognitive, physical, social, emotional and spiritual development.

Children and Youth Protection Policy
Genesis UMC has a Safe Sanctuaries policy in place to ensure the safety, protection and spiritual growth of all children & youth, and the adult volunteers who work with them. Adults working with children or youth must complete the Safe Sanctuary training available via the button below. Children’s leaders, Youth Leaders, Nursery Staff, and Preschool Staff are background checked.
