Matthew 28:18-20 And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”
At Genesis, we believe and follow spiritual directives to become and to go make disciples, or followers, of Jesus. It is not an option, but a command to all who call Jesus “Lord”. We use our gifts and talents to fulfill Jesus’ command, “The Great Commission”, to help train and assist others to become followers whether it is next door or in another country. As we obey, we have comfort in the knowledge that Jesus is always with us.
