Malana and her family joined Genesis UMC in 2005, and she has joined the church staff as Director of Adult Ministries. Since joining Genesis, she has played with the Resounding Joy handbell choir, serves as a Youth Leader and has been involved with several missions. Malana has a degree in Communications/Marketing from East Carolina University. She was born and raised in eastern NC and loves spending time on the Pamlico River. She enjoys going on vacation with her family, riding roller coasters, exploring new places and serving others.
