Genesis delivered 20 boxes to UMCOR in Goldsboro to be sent to Project Agape, a Methodist mission in Armenia. These boxes will be distributed in the winter to children who are served by this mission partner as an extension of God’s love for them.
This year the United Methodist Conference asked for churches to send fewer boxes and to instead send a financial gift. This mission is underfunded due to a decline in donations. Genesis UMC is sending a gift though our missions budget to support both the Project Agape mission and the missionary who serves in Armenia.
