“Simeon’s Story”

Pastor Craig Ham shares the story of Jesus’ presentation at the temple and Simeon’s prophecy at hearing and seeing Him as the Christmas challenge for us all to answer the question, “what are you going to do with Christ?” Scripture:  Luke 2:25-35

“The Shepherd’s Story”

Pastor Craig Ham shares the Christmas story through the lens of the shepherd’s and how they carried the gospel story to everyone, and we are challenged to do the same. Scripture:  Luke 2:8-20

“Do You Hear What I Hear?”

Pastor Craig Ham uses the story of Mary and Elizabeth’s reunion in the Gospel of Luke and the response of Elizabeth’s baby leaping in her womb at the sound of Mary’s voice as an illustration of how we are to listen for the word of God and respond as we hear Him. Scripture:  Luke 1:39-45

“The Promised One Is Coming!”

Pastor Craig Ham shares the story of John the Baptist’s answer to the question from people witnessing his ministry “what should we do to prepare for the Messiah’s coming?”  His answers are the challenge of our lives – how should we prepare for His coming? Scripture:  Luke 3:7-18

“Slowing Down For Reflection”

Pastor Craig Ham begins this first Sunday of Advent with a message based on the admonitions from Luke’s gospel about preparing ourselves for the return of Christ.  Now is the time to slow down and prepare ourselves. Scripture:  Luke 21:25-36

“A Gift Of A Song”

Pastor Craig Ham focuses us on the “songwriter”, Mary, as she composes from the heart her response to the angel’s pronouncement of her role in Christ’s birth and how we should adopt this humility to God’s call on our lives. Scripture: Luke 1:46-55
