Adopt a Teacher
We need 24 families who are willing to adopt a teacher at Kingswood Elementary for the 2022-2023 school year. You will be asked to send an encouraging note and maybe some treats at least one time a month during the school year. You may email your teacher, send cards in the mail to the school or drop off gifts at the front desk during the school day. Serving Sundays
Dear Genesis’ families, Many blessings to you and your family, This coming July, Genesis is planning to have a series of SERVING SUNDAYS that go along with the Sermon Series Ten Characteristics of Faith. These Sundays in July will be an opportunity to put our faith into action while enjoying an hour of Christian fellowship and joyful servanthood. Dedication of Methodist Build Home
The dedication of the 2021 Habitat for Humanity Methodist Build Home in Cary will take place on Monday, June 20th @ 6:00 p.m. Genesis UMC is one of the proud sponsors of this build. The dedication will take place in the driveway of 125 Trimble Ave in Cary. Pastor Craig Ham and Jeff Cooper will be speaking. Come, pray for and celebrate with the new home owner.
All Ages Event: Serving Sundays
On July 10th, we’ll launch Serving Sundays during the Christian Education hour. Each week we will join together as a church family of all ages to do a project for one of our Community Partners in Mission. All ages – children, youth and adults, are invited to participate in this serving and fellowship time on Sundays July 10, 17, 24 and 31st. On July 10th, we will be serving The Carying Place. This Community Partner helps homeless families become financially stable.…
