3rd Sunday of Advent: JOY
Let us fill the night with music and light and affirm and act on the reasons why we can still “believe, even when” we are discouraged.
This Sunday, we light the 3rd Advent candle, the candle of Joy. Celebrate with joy that your hope in Christ is certain. Over 700 years before Christ, the prophet Isaiah announced that the Holy One of Israel would one day be among the people. Let us sing for joy that Jesus did indeed come to live with man! “Shout aloud and sing for joy, people of Zion, for great is the Holy One of Israel among you” ().
We welcome you to join in worship this Sunday and participate in our Christian community.
- In Person: Each Sunday at 11:30 am, weather permitting, there is a live outdoor worship service in our parking lot. Bring your own chair and mask.
- Online: You may worship online via our YouTube channel: genesisumccary.
We worship together through music, a children’s moment, scripture readings and a Biblical centered message delivered by Pastor Craig Ham.
6 Shout, and sing for joy, O inhabitant of Zion,
for great in your midst is the Holy One of Israel.” (ESV)
