Holy Week @ Genesis

Palm Sunday April 2, 2023 9:00 and 11:10 a.m. Celebrate Jesus Christ’s triumphant entry into Jerusalem on this first day of Holy Week. Worship services will be held at 9:00 a.m. and 11:10 a.m. Maundy Thursday April 6, 2023 7:00 p.m. Maundy Thursday worship will be held Thursday, April 6th at 7 p.m. at Genesis UMC. Work Mission Trip Supporters, Our next down east trip is scheduled for Saturday, March 18th. The Down East team travels to the Goldsboro area to repair / build homes with Habitat for Humanity. Lenten 40 items for 40 days Participate in the 40 for 40 Food Drive each year during Lent. Our Lenten challenge is for each family to donate 40 items over the 40 days of Lent. Donations should be dropped off at Dorcas Food Pantry, 193 High House Road. Local Missions Regional Missions The Carying Place Genesis partners with The Carying Place.  This organization serves the needy in our area by helping them transition from homelessness to independent living. Children & Youth Protection Policy

Genesis UMC has a Safe Sanctuaries policy in place to ensure the safety, protection and spiritual growth of all children & youth, and the adult volunteers who work with them. Adults working with children or youth must complete the Safe Sanctuary training available via the button below. Children’s Leaders, Youth Leaders, Nursery Staff, and Preschool Staff are background checked.
